How can something so ever-present have its significance forgotten? After losing hair due to problems with my health, I realised as each lock of hair fell, I was losing a part of my identity. "Memoir of the Fallen Locks" encapsulates sentimental attachments surrounding hair, taking inspiration from Victorian beliefs. With each look, a garment within the look has been hand felted with pieces of my hair, my mothers hair and my sisters hair, acting as a preservation of these sentimental attachments.
